About GriddleGirl

An awesome place I've visited:

Costa Rica is amazing. One can relax, explore or party all night long. I like having options to suit my moods.

My perfect Sunday:

Leisurely wake up to see blue skies. Make a delicious breakfast or go out for brunch. The temperature is mild with a slight breeze, perfect for my Sunday afternoon soccer game.

The movie I've watched the most times:

It is hard to say really since there are a few that I like to revisit when I am in certain moods but the Big Lebowski is always a good one.

My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:

Growing up a military brat I've always embrace the saying that home is where the heart is but now that I live in Asheville both are in the same place.

My first concert / My dream concert:

First concert: Edie Brickell & the New Bohemians. (age 13) Dream Concert? I don't really go to "concerts" per se but I do go see live music quite a bit and am often blown away by the talent I see.

Obscure knowledge I possess:

I couldn't tell you but I know it's in there. People are always calling me and asking me information about the most random things because apparently, I have demonstrated in other situations, that I know things.

I have a weakness for guys/girls who:

Have a comfy-cool fashion sense & wear stylin' shoes.

For me, a first date no-no is:

going to a movie.

I secretly want to be:

part of an underground organization of highly skilled burglars that highjack things like art and safes full of money...but only because they get to use all these cool gadgets.

I want to be with someone who wants to be:

a somewhat traditional "man" role in the relationship but not in a chauvinistic way, just in a strong a supportive way.

If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:

Pay off my student loans. Pay off my parents house. Buy a large house where I could finally start my ultimate life dream of owning/operating a bed & breakfast inn/cafe/catering company. Maybe buy a condo on the beach & one out west in Colorado. Invest whatever is leftover.

One thing my mother would want you to know about me:

She always likes to say, "Where there's a will there is you" (instead of where there is a will there's a way) in reference to me and my persistence and determination in many situations.

I want to come home to:

a loving companion & friend.
