An awesome place I've visited:
I went to Taiwan, Hong Kong, and mainland China a few years ago. It was an awesome experience. I want my next trip to be either a bass fishing trip or my 1st visit to New York.
My perfect Sunday:
Sleeping in with my window open so it's warmer under the covers than over the covers, then getting out of the house in no particular hurry for a BBQ, visiting friends, or a day trip somewhere. A Rocky's burger and a baseball/football game is always a good option too.
The movie I've watched the most times:
Dumb and Dumber.
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:
I grew up in the Chino/Chino Hills area (2 hrs north on the 15 from SD). It was a neat mix of city and rural life as we lived in a city but had horse property. I moved out to SD about a year ago for my job. I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona and am currently knocking out post-grad classes when I have the time. I discovered TheChive about a year ago and it gets me through my office days, and that's how I ended up here :)
My first concert / My dream concert:
My 1st concert was a Pennywise/Bad Religion concert. My dream concert would be an all day private concert on a yacht with friends. Some relaxing Cake in the morning, Queens of the Stone Age and Bad Religion for lunch, an acoustic set with original Sublime in the afternoon, then Rage Against the Machine and Tool/Perfect Circle opening for Led Zeppelin that night. Mandatory wine and food breaks in between sets.
Obscure knowledge I possess:
Grammar and the ability to spell. Seems like obscure knowledge these days :)
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
Can change my mind about something, or at least force me to think about my P.O.V. critically.
For me, a first date no-no is:
Seeming like you're not comfortable in your own skin.
What I would bring to show and tell:
My friend's dog Glen. He's extremely old, is blind/deaf, has no lower jaw and only one tooth... yet he's still vibrant and wants to play... It's hard to explain but you magically feel better when he's around.
A story you should remind me to tell you on our first date:
I have a lot of stories. You might want to occasionally remind me to shut up instead :)

constantly growing and changing. I know that everything loses its initial luster, but that doesn't mean getting stuck in a rut is the only option.

I love the feeling of making someone else laugh.
If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
Dedicate every month to doing one particular activity. As in January would be sailing month, Feb would be flying lessons month, March would be road trip on a Harley month, etc. Plus there would be travel, travel, travel.... December would be the stay home and relax month...
One thing my mother would want you to know about me:
She would probably point out that I have manners, and attribute that to her influence.

Nothing in particular, just as long as it feels like home.
