I'd start out by sleeping just a little later than usual. I'd follow that up with a run to the gym, preferably with my girlfriend. After that it varies. It could be shopping, or perhaps a quiet afternoon followed by dinner plans.

Texting with other friends as opposed to being "present" for the date.
