Loved school so stayed a student as long as was possible. When I eventually had to leave, I tried the next best thing to being a student -- a professor. I bought a old house in DC and fixed it up and found out that I love gardening. Developed an addiction to NPR, which helped me better control my addiction to novels. I've met many wonderful people along the way.
Obscure knowledge I possess:
Sociolinguistics, a close reading of Die Hard 4, the history of the Belizean school system
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
were English majors.
What I would bring to show and tell:
a tattered quilt my great grandmother made.

Animals! I love dogs and cats. I think it is damn near impossible to be in a bad mood at a dog park.
If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
I don't think I would quit my job. I have the best job in the world. I would definitely cut back my hours so that I could sleep in, though.
